Cameras have disappeared from the Camhipro App
If your camera is not appearing after a recent CamHipro update, please update to the latest version (V4.1.15) to resolve the issue.
If they're still not there after the update, you can manually add them by following these steps:
For a 4G Camera
- Stand close to the camera and use your mobile device to search for available WiFi networks
- Connect to the network named MIFI_** using password 1234567890
- Open the CamHipro app on your mobile device
- Tap to add a camera, select IP Camera, and then select Device in Use
- Select the option to 'Search nearby devices', and after a moment, a UID normally starting with SSAA- should appear
- Tap on this UID, select 'Add to', and your camera should be readded to your mobile device.
The camera may display 'wrong password'. If this happens, tap on 'wrong password' and update the login details using the username 'admin' and the password you set up when first configuring the camera.
For a WiFi Camera
- Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same WiFi network as your camera (e.g., your home WiFi network)
- Open the CamHipro app on your mobile device
- Tap to add a camera, select IP Camera, and then select Device in Use
- Select the option to 'Search nearby devices', and after a moment, a UID normally starting with SSAA- should appear
- Tap on this UID, select 'Add to', and your camera should be re-added to your mobile device.
Note that the camera may display 'wrong password'. If this happens, tap on 'wrong password' and update the login details using the username 'admin' and the password you set up when first configuring the camera.
