30 tonnes of hay set on fire in village field near Banbury

Police are continuing to investigate a field fire which saw 30 tonnes of hay set alight.

Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce appealed for witnesses to the fire, which happened around 3.20pm in Wroxton near Banbury on August 16.

A section of the field on Horley Path Road was left scorched and blackened. Police are investigating the fire as a suspected arson incident.
